Vermont Sky Studios has recently upgraded its recording facility to move into the computer based operation that has become the norm for small studios. Pro Tools LE8 is the industry standard computer based recording program that has been installed at the desk of the comfortable, homey Vermont Sky control booth. Pro Tools is a very powerful recording program with easy, fast and effective recording, editing, mixing and mastering modes. Pro Tools also offers a direct line-in capability, and the option of using literally hundreds of great sound enhancing plug-ins to produce any sound effects one could imagine.

Vermont Sky also has a full complement of amplifiers, drums and keyboards available for ease of use, or a recording customer can, of course, bring in and use their own equipment. Our studio has a wide variety of dynamic, large diaphragm and small condenser microphones to convey the cleanest, most accurate representation of the sound being produced.

Whatever sound you might want to record, we believe you will be comfortable, relaxed, and ready to do your best work in our studio, set in the beautiful, lush countryside of West Barnet, Vermont.
